Leading Arab carrier Qatar Airways is the first airline to embrace the metaverse with its first Metahuman cabin crew member “Sama”. Who promises to offer a virtual reality experience to users who visit its website by taking them on an immersive tour of their next adventure.
All visitors to the airline’s website will be able to access Qverse which provides a virtual tour of Hamad International Airport’s premium check-in area. As well as the inside of the aircraft cabin, from its award-winning Business Class, through Qsuite to its Economy Class cabin, all via personal electronic devices.

The entire virtual reality experience was developed by Unreal Engine belonging to the well-known Epic Games, which has the most advanced 3D creation tool. All this with Human Creator which is an app-based in the cloud that allows the creation of digital humans with high fidelity.
