The COVID 19 pandemic has positively influenced the processes developed within airports, control towers, and flights, encouraging. Nowadays, three times more airports and airlines are interested in making investments that reduce service times and direct contact between passengers and workers.
Currently, due to new sanitary measures, security and billing controls may take longer than usual. However, many airlines are implementing tools that allow check-in without physical contact or self-service for the delivery of luggage, which has favored the implementation of new processes.

In the future, we will be able to see how these new processes will take shape since airlines and airports are 100% focused, investing in new technologies such as mobile applications, biometric technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and blockchain, just to mention a few. However, we are sure that the implementation of these strategies will make the transit of passengers through airports easier and less stressful, as well as improve customer service and make the experience more fluid.
Although the pandemic has deeply affected us globally, the benefit that we can see in the future is a profound evolution not only in the aeronautical industry. Today, more and more technology companies are in a constant struggle to innovate and offer new alternatives to all sectors.
