In the brand-new Terminal C at Orlando Airport, the MCO Experience porvides passengers with the convenience of reaching the boarding gate without the need to show their physical tickets.
This new process consists of a special boarding pass, which allows up to 50 passengers per day to apply. This can be processed up to seven days in advance of the scheduled visit or on the same day, if there are available slots.
The TSA will review all applications and notify their approval or rejection through the email provided during registration.
The response is received on the day before the trip or as soon as 15 minutes after requesting the pass. In addition to this, the Terminal C offers services and amenities for travelers, including restaurants, digital art exhibitions, retail stores, and more.
TSA Photo Requirements for Approval
To process this pass, it is essential to present a photo identification that meets the rigorous standards set by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The photos must meet the following requirements:
Clarity and Quality: The image must be clear and high-quality, with details clearly visible. Avoid pixelated or blurry photos.
Color and Background: The photo must be in color and with a clear background, preferably white or a uniform tone. Avoid backgrounds with patterns or shadows that may hinder identification.
Size and Composition: The head should occupy approximately 50-69% of the total height of the photo, from the top of the head to the chin. The face must be centered and in a frontal position, with a neutral or natural expression.
Lighting: Lighting should be even and not create shadows on the face. Avoid reflections on eyeglass lenses or excessive glare.
Clothing and Accessories: Wear regular clothing and avoid accessories such as caps or sunglasses.
Streamlining the Boarding Process
Thanks to this innovation, passengers experience a faster and more efficient boarding process. On average, traditional ticket checking can take several minutes per passenger, while the online boarding pass process significantly reduces this time.
Automation and Benefits for International Airports
The automation of processes benefits passengers and provides substantial advantages to airports, especially at the international level. It facilitates the management of traveler flows, improves security and operational efficiency.
By implementing automated processes like online boarding passes, you can optimize passenger experiences, and turn airports to be more competitive and efficient in an increasingly dynamic and globalized environment.
