At a time when airports are already working at maximum capacity, travel around the world is already at full capacity. And technology has gone to the next level, airlines are entering the next level of the technological world.
A few days ago it was announced the arrival of Qatar Airways to the Multiverse, the cryptocurrencies as a payment method for flight tickets, and much more. But now came the turn of Etihad Airways, which announces a collection of NFTs.
This series is a limited edition collectible from 2003, where you can appreciate ten 3D airplane models, where each Etihad Boing 787 Dreamliner has a unique livery that makes it special. In addition, the year 2003 commemorates a special date, the year in which the organization was established.
EY-ZERO1, the name of the collection, will go on sale from July 21. For the purchase of an NFT, the owner will receive an ‘Etihad Guest Silver’ membership valid for one year. In addition, there will be 10 owners who will be able to win airline tickets courtesy of Etihad Airways.
Tony Douglas, CEO of Etihad Aviation Group said, “We are excited to launch our first NFT collection, EY-ZERO1, which not only offers collectors, aviation enthusiasts, and travelers a unique piece of artwork but also provides lifestyle benefits and real-world travel with Etihad Airways.”
As a cause for celebration and motivation, Etihad is giving away 20 NFT to users who register before July 16, so if you’re interested you have until tomorrow to register at etihad.com/zero.
