Air Yacht is the new prototype created by the Lazzarini design studio that proposes a hybrid solution, a superyacht with a futuristic design that can sail and sail the skies alike. Best of all, it would do so without carbon emissions.
The design, which looks like something out of a fictional movie, is inspired by catamarans and airships. Is capable of accommodating up to 22 passengers, and has five luxury cabins with private bathrooms, a master cabin with a 360-degree view, a dining room, living room, and swimming pool.

The structure of this new model is proposed to be made of carbon fiber and will be equipped with two blimps filled with compressed helium, which would allow it to stay in the air and fly at 60 knots for more than 48 hours. In addition, thanks to its inflatable basements, the Air Yacht will be able to sail silently at a speed of 5 knots.
This prototype will have eight counter-rotating engines powered by batteries and solar panels.
This sort of giant catamaran, surrounded by two 150 meter long dirigibles, will be connected by 4 bridges to the central area which will be 80 meters long and even has the possibility of a heliport because clearly with such an extravagant design, this model will be reserved for the wealthy.
The sale price of the Air Yacht is expected to be around 500 million Euros and at the moment the project is in the search phase for private investors and it is expected that by the end of this year they will present a first model on a smaller scale of 24 meters.
This Lazzarini prototype gives a glimpse of what could be the future of private and sustainable travel.
