American Airlines launched a new entertainment program for its passengers called ‘Lifestyle’, which offers onboard its aircraft more than 150 different classes and 600 movies, television shows, concerts, and much more, which can play through their devices mobiles.
This initiative, was created to improve the flight experience of its passengers in partnership with online education platforms Rosetta Stone and Skillshare. It is available from June 1 on all American Airlines flights, from the departures of the plane to the landing of your destination.
“The importance of personal enrichment has grown over the past year, but so have the different priorities competing for our attention … We are delighted to partner with Rosetta Stone and Skillshare to introduce new interactive ways for our clients to spend their time. With us”, said Clarisa Sebastian, American Airlines CEO of Premium Customer Experience and Inflight Products, in a statement.
The airline will offer as its main service, language classes taught by experts from basic to advanced level. Passengers will be able to learn basic phrases to navigate their destination, or they will be able to reinforce their knowledge in English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, or German.
Lifestyle is a free program, but it will only be available on board the plane. To enjoy it, passengers must enable the airplane mode of their mobile devices and connect to the AA-Inflight signal to go to the website aainflight.com.
They will be able to enjoy other courses focused on art, by Skillshare such as Illustration, creative writing, flower arranging, travel photography, and much more during their trips with American Airlines.
