EGYPTAIR’s U.S. Expansion Takes Off from the New Terminal One

EGYPTAIR, Egypt’s national carrier, has confirmed its relocation to the new Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) starting in 2026, as part of its strategy to reinforce its presence in the U.S. market.
From this state-of-the-art terminal, the airline will offer daily nonstop flights between New York and Egypt, providing easy access to iconic destinations such as Cairo, the Pyramids of Giza, and the temples of Luxor.
A Terminal Built for the Future

EGYPTAIR’s move is part of JFK’s ambitious transformation plan, led by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, with a total investment of $19 billion. This comprehensive redevelopment includes:
- The construction of two brand-new terminals
- The modernization of two existing ones
- A new ground transportation center
- A complete redesign of the airport’s access road system
The goal: to make JFK a world-class global gateway, prioritizing efficiency, sustainability, and passenger experience.

Air France, KLM, Etihad Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, Korean Air, EVA Air, Turkish Airlines, Air China, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Philippine Airlines, SAS, China Airlines, Air New Zealand, Gulf Air, Air Serbia, Neos, and more.
As part of Star Alliance, EGYPTAIR becomes the sixth airline in this global network to commit to operating from Terminal One, consolidating its presence within one of the most important airport projects of the decade.
